FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Do I need to buy any special equipment?
No special equipment needed, if cooking you need the kitchen basics. We will be working with real foods that fuel you. There are no protein shakes, meal replacements products or diet drinks on this program.
Can I buy the program now and start it later?
Yes you can. It’s yours, you can begin it whenever you are ready and do it as often as you like.
Can I Eat Out or Do I Need to Cook?
If you have the time to cook, there is a suggested meal planner with recipes and a shopping list. If you are too busy to cook you can use the Eating Out guide to make the best decisions when dining out
How much time do I need to spend daily on the program?
You will need about 10-15 minutes daily to read through the material. There are some fun assignments to do, allowing the daily changes to last a LIFETIME.
Exercising: This depends on how much time you have, but allow for at least 30 minutes five times a week. This can include a walk to/from work, going to the gym, playing tennis, swimming, running with the children in the park, etc. You do not need a gym as exercises can be done at home or outdoors.
Can my family eat the meals?
Yes, the program is for the whole family so you won’t need to cook separate meals.
Is the program fixed or can I change it?
The program will vary from person to person and nothing is set in stone. It can be easily adapted to suit your lifestyle, eating times and you do not need to use the suggested meal planner if you cannot cook. You will get the tools on how to select the right meals.
Can I do this program if I am traveling or away from home?
Yes you definitely can. You don’t have to cook to see success as the eating out guide is detailed and will allow you to make the best choices when on the road. You don’t need a gym either!
Do I have to give up my favorite foods?
No, but you are encouraged to reduce processed foods and find healthier alternatives. The changes will be made gradually, crowding out the foods laden with salt, sugar, fat, etc and replacing them with better choices. I follow the 80/20 rule. Allow yourself to enjoy your favorite foods so there is no deprivation.
Will I see any noticeable changes after 28 days?
Yes, you will and the amount you see depends on your effort. There will be an improvement in energy and digestion. You should see weight loss, feel and look better. Research shows that it takes 21-28 days to make habits, as during this time your body gets over many withdrawal symptoms and becomes accustomed to the foods you are eating. However, this will vary from person to person as some of us take longer to break a habit.
