Join us for a 90 minute tour of a health store where we go down the grocery aisles showing you what to look for when reading labels, what to avoid and what to include. There will be handouts provided which you can refer to later.

Want your children to learn the basics of
healthy eating and having a balanced lifestyle?
Educating our children from a young age is important as it helps them to create healthy habits and to maintain these as they grow.
Being healthy is not rocket science but with the overwhelming information that we are all exposed to it can become difficult to know what’s best. This can be daunting for children who are exposed to it via magazines, TV or social media.
In our interactive workshop the children will learn about healthy yet tasty foods without focusing on calories. They will learn simple facts like – what all foods should their food plate consist of and what a healthy plate consists of.
Being healthy has three aspects – good food , exercise and calm mind . Our focus will be on good nutritious food and a few healthy habits incorporated daily in their lives and finally we will end with few fun mindfulness exercises.
What the children will learn:
- Understanding macro nutrients and why we need them
- What a healthy plate includes
- How to read food labels
- What is mindfulness
- Some simple mindfulness exercises
This workshop is for children 10 years to 15 years old.
£40 and includes handouts to increase your child’s knowledge, a few simple child friendly recipes and light refreshments.
