Since 2011 I have worked with many clients,  men, women and families, providing nutrition and lifestyle advice and support.  My clients consult me because they want to get healthy, change their diet and lifestyle to increase their energy levels, improve digestion, achieve optimum weight and to look and feel better.

My health journey began when my family located to Singapore in 2007.   Within a few months of living there my younger son and I both began to fall ill and we were constantly on medication.     My turning point came when I was recommended surgery and knew I had to take action; rebuild our immunity.  I began reading all that I could find and it was overwhelming and confusing.  It was at this point I decided to learn about nutrition and enrolled at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition.  I learnt about bio-individuality, that no one diet fits everyone as we have our own individual nutritional requirements depending on age, gender, activities, lifestyle, etc.  

Even thought we had a healthy diet, did not eat sugar or junk food, it needed to be changed.  With optimum nutrition and lifestyle we began to see an improvement over time. I never dreamt I would be working as a Health Coach.   As I began applying what I learnt for my family and sharing my knowledge with family and friends, I knew that this was my calling.  This is why for me there is a very fine line between work and life.

My Philosophy

Having at one point been unsure, confused and overwhelmed myself with all the available conflicting information, I understand how my clients feel when we start working together, which is why:

I create a tailor made program: Even when I have two clients with the same goals, the recommendations made for each depends on their individual circumstances.

Small changes are always made a step at a time to diet and lifestyle, which shows HUGE results at the end of the program.

Importance of enjoying your health journey: The intention is not to feel deprived or frustrated, but have a sense of self-fulfilment and achievement.  There will be room to have a cheat meal or indulge, as it is not a restrictive diet. 

Finding balance.  I encourage my clients to live by the 80:20 rule or even the 70:30 or 60:40 rules depending on where they are on their health journey.

I believe in educating my clients and giving them the tools to make the best meal choices that suit them.  They need to understand why they are eating the foods that I recommend for them.

Consistency is key to success and take it at a pace that works for you.  By making changes gently you won’t feel overwhelemed and can keep to them and will be motivated to carry on when you see improvements.

My clients have some nutrition knowledge, are self-motivated but find that despite eating the right foods and exercising they are stuck and cannot get over the plateau. 

I work with men, women, retirees and children.  I guide busy mums who are juggling childcare, cooking and looking after themselves; They want to prepare healthy meals that are simple and quick to make or want to shed the baby weight that’s been hanging on for many years and look and feel good about themselves.  I work with professionals who are so busy balancing work, travel, family, social life, etc but are not looking after themselves.   Due to the demands on them, they have poor digestion suffering from belly bloat, gas, constipation or diarrhea. They want to go down a pant size or fit into a favorite dress.  They want to be a healthy role model for their children.

You may have one or many health concerns, which could be:

  • To overcome the mid-afternoon slump and increase your energy
  • Want a better digestion after years of enduring belly bloat, gas, constipation, diarrhoea, etc.
