Instead of buying your granola for breakfast try my simple recipe below, as you can see it is easy to make, using ingredients available at your local supermarket.
Dry Ingredients
1 cup almonds, chopped
1 cup cashew nuts, chopped
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup sunflower seeds
½ cup shredded coconut
1 cup dried fruit, chopped
7 cups rolled oats
Wet Ingredients:
½ cup nut butter
½ cup honey
1/3 cup water
Combine all the dried ingredients in a lined large baking tray. Pour in the wet ingredients and mix well using your fingers so all dried ingredients are well coated.
Preheat the oven to 150°c. Bake for 25 minutes, stirring and turning over once. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool. Store in an airtight glass container for up to two weeks. Enjoy with milk, dairy free milk or yogurt.
