This week I wanted to share a recipe for your Christmas meal.  This easy spicy Brussels sprouts recipe will pair well with any main meal and are a great way to add vegetables to your Christmas menu.

Have you tried baking your Brussels sprouts? 

If not, it’s time you tried my baked spicy Brussels Sprouts recipe.  These not only taste good but they are so simple and easy to make.

2 cups Brussels sprouts

To make the marinade mix:

1 tbsp lemon juice

¾ tbsp olive oil

½ tbsp finely chopped ginger and garlic

½ tsp cumin

½ tsp chili flakes

Sea salt to taste

Prepare 2 cups of Brussels sprouts and trim the outer leaves if needed.  Then cut them in half.

Combine all the marinade ingredients and marinade for 3-4 hours.

Heat the oven to 180C.  Then layer on to a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes, mixing half way through.   Then grill for 2-3 minutes.  If using larger Brussels sprouts than bake for longer.
