Raita is something we all love, and during Navratri, it’s not just tasty, it’s super healthy too! With the protein from yogurt and the added goodness of fresh vegetables, it’s a great way to keep things light and balanced while enjoying the festive season. Here’s a super simple raita recipe you can whip up in no time!

Ingredients:
1 cup cucumber, grated (with skin)
1 cup yogurt
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp roasted cumin
Green chilli (optional)
Rock salt (optional)

Grate the cucumber with the skin on and set it aside.

In a bowl, add 1 cup of yogurt. Now, add the cumin and give it a good mix. If you’d like, you can also add pinch of rock salt and some finely chopped green chilli for that extra kick. Mix it all together well.

Add the grated cucumber to the yogurt mixture and mix it gently.

For the final touch, sprinkle some roasted cumin on top.
