  • Physical Activity: With age, you might naturally slow down and have a more sedentary life due to increased responsibilities, low motivation and decreased energy levels.
  • Underlying Medical Conditions: Conditions like thyroid disorders, insulin resistance, or metabolic syndrome are more common as you age and can impede weight loss. Some medications can contribute to weight gain or make losing weight more difficult.
